The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants met personally to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
