Overnight, Moscow's aerial assaults have resulted in power cuts in extensive areas of the capital city, Kyiv.

Meanwhile, a seven-year-old child was fatally injured in a distinct aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia area in the country's south-east, based on information from local officials.
Russian forces has intensified assaults on power infrastructure over the last fortnight, while the country's government has called for "real steps" from international partners to exert influence on Moscow.
"What's needed is not superficial actions but strong steps - from the United States, European nations and the major economies - in supplying defensive weapons and implementing restrictions," he wrote in a social media post.
Officials stated that 450 drones and over thirty projectiles attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure, characterizing such strikes as "strategic and deliberate" and against "critical infrastructure" as temperatures become colder.
The energy minister said Russia was "inflicting a massive strike" and maintenance teams were striving to fix the damage.
A wave of strikes struck energy infrastructure and residential structures in the capital.
Multiple people wounded in the strikes on the capital have been transported for medical care, as confirmed by city authorities.
Area administrators said the city endured heavy assaults throughout the evening. A seven-year-old child died and three other people were injured.
The attacks succeed evenings of bombing campaigns in the area, parts of which are occupied by Moscow's military.
All of Ukraine is on alert for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are tougher to spot.
Authorities told the media that Moscow was deliberately attempting to destroy the national power system, with attacks already impacting gas facilities.
Officials stated technical personnel and officials were preparing for additional strikes.
